Not a daily driver and don't really plan on doing too much mud or rock. Mainly just want something to let the sunshine in on sunny days while not having to hear loved ones bitch about how dangerous it is or wearing protective gear in 90+ heat or not being able to take things around or have more than 1 passenger.

Gotcha.

Have you looked at JK with the 3.6? JK are Cadillac’s compared to TJ.

Whatever you decide, get a rubicon. Will hold its value.

GF came home a few weeks ago with a 2015 JKU, 3.6L, 9k miles. She has no interest in doing anything fun with it as it's her daily driver.

I don't like the fanciness of the interiors on the JK. I had a YJ for a little back in the day and have gotten used to the idea that a Jeep is meant to be utilitarian.

My friend's dad has an IMMACULATE 2004 Rubicon that sits in his driveway with less than 70k miles on it (original owner) yet keeps skirting my questions about buying it from him.

Trim the blighted branches in the fall.
Spray the ground a few feet past the drip line now.
I think the old apple trees are too far gone.
They have been here since 1959-1960.
After my grandparents passed, it was all but abandoned.

Prob drop em all and sell the wood to the BBQers around here and start fresh.
Prob burn the orchard off a few times, clear it out for the new saps and treat the ground several times between now and fall planting

Talk to me before planning new trees. I have experimented with several varieties. Do not plant trees in the same spots where the old trees were.
