The one I had in Syria was plagued with problems till I completely disassembled and cleaned it. I wanted to chop it down Rhodesia style, but one of the girls in my unit PKM went down so I gave it to her for a mission and she decided she liked it more than the PKM and kept it.

They literally shoot them selves to pieces. No amount of torque or loctite would keep screws from backing out of it. Had to tighten everything and watch everything during range sessions make sure I didn’t rattle it loose. Ran it on the 2 gas setting pretty much the whole time. What’s crazy is even though it’s a 7.62x39 and a milled receiver according to battlefield Vegas they would crack on the rear extension Of the receiver near the neck of the buttstock after like 20-30k of FA fire

I have, a copperhead. That's why I moved up to 9mm shotshells. 22shot just blew a hole in it. Had to shot several times. They also do not cycle the Ruger 22.
