Careful, you’re gonna talk @Gaige out of a holster. LolI have had some success using a heat gun, and slowing pressing the barrel through the kydex. Same with suppressor height sights.
I am not familiar with safariland products though.

Yeah.....NoI’m not doubting your claims but I had no issues in any of the Chinese aks I used circle 10 5.56 mags in (6 or 7 norinco and polytec)
Maybe a build date range or other issue
That Galil Stock............SHIZZZ!
They are great AKs. 1.5mm receiver, bulged trunnion, grenade shtuff. Like a mini RPK, but not as cool lol.
I have an M70AB2 also, and I noticed the tritium sights still glow!!!Haven’t really got an eye for those yet. I know they are built like soviet tanks tho

Worked out perfect however the OG stock is SUPER stiff. You can do it but it definitely takes more effort to disengage then the original stock/hinge. Installation took about 30 seconds with 2 people. I locked a punch Into a vice and pressed the rifle hinge down onto the punch to lift the pin and my buddy pulled the e-clip while I kept the pin exposed. Easy peasy.I still think of it as a long term loan.
Hinge and pin worked out OK?
We're gonna rub so much it's gonna start a fire!
Speaking of starting fires, the one thing that still bugs me about this gun is the ease with which you can BURN THE SHIT OUTTA YOURSELF on the gas block. I mostly fixed the problem by modifying a set of Israeli FAL handguards tha someone had cut the front metal off of. Got em for a deal, now I just need a few finishing touches, and it’ll look kinda like what @Rabbit2047 has in mind - but without the added cool factor of that front metal. We're gonna rub so much it's gonna start a fire!
You're starting to post as many selfies as rabbitNice Sunday
