AR guys, other than being dirty does this look okay? Is the wear below the bottom two gear things normal?

OMG, that's a sign you've actually FIRED IT!!!

You can drop it off at my house, I'll take care of it from here.

Or, to make sure that never happens again, I'll take it to @Shemp

Basically what you've got there is an older rifle that doesn't have M4 feed ramps, and the tips of the rounds are hitting that flat spot before they hit the feed ramps, and then go into the barrel. Not a problem, totally normal. But this is why most upper receivers have the lower type (m4) of feed ramps these days.

I like it too and I'll probably regret it when it's gone but I'm slimming down the collection and the only two .45 acp items are up for grabs.

Flip side of the coin is if they don't sale they're not costing me a dime to keep.
I dont regret selling mine, but if I still had it I'd probably keep it. They are pretty fun

Hah! I’m just making sure it was normal wear in tear. My dad bought this brand new in 98 and is having some double feed issues with it. I think it’s just the shorty mags but I’m giving the whole thing a once over before I give it back to him

ALG triggers are back in stock if anyone needs one. They've been out of stock forever and won't last long

Nowadays thata probably true

But, I've also probably sent more rounds downrange than you've seen, especially in my younger days

Although that might be unfair since I had access to machine guns for a while

Thanks for the info! This rifle is 22 this year!

I sometimes forget you're such an old fart, since you appear to be an internet NINJA...

What buffer system is on it.

You ever tried Vltor A5 system it’s helps with bolt hop when it’s crossing the mag .. may help.

I don’t know much about ARs but it’s got a full length A2 stock and the buffer and spring go the whole way through it
