Refurb, but in good condition. Stock was force matched. Old number was marked out. For $400 you did really good. I have an OG 1955 Russian SKS with OG stock, but it cost me more.@Jeddak also top Handguard is inscribed with matching serial # View attachment 86517
Does that mean anything in regards to the value? It also has these marks by the trigger, where your hand grips a 3 encircled by a square and then a P in a triangleThe collectors used to think that the horizontal stamped guns were East German DDR refurbs, but it was later proved ot be a late Russian refurbish. Some stamp looks similar to an EG stamp. Some still believe this theory though.

Paint overspray on the blade is from refurbishing. Check the gas tube, if there is rust, it will be there. Be careful, piston likes to fly out from the spring tension.
Checked the gas tube. No rust. Very slight small spot of greenish residue but that’s it. Overall very clean.Refurb, but in good condition. Stock was force matched. Old number was marked out. For $400 you did really good. I have an OG 1955 Russian SKS with OG stock, but it cost me more.
