Could probably try it on a WBP greenish/blue translucent mag too. Those seem readily available.I hadn't seen one of those in ages. Forgot they made them. Thanks for the heads up.
I think the problem I had getting the promag to take the color is fact it is so clear. Maybe I should run some steel wool over it next time so I can give it a frosted appearance before dying.
I think you did pretty well for yourself with that haul.Bought both. Got the 98k for 130 bucks. It’s tapped on the side. Grandpa bubba put it through part of the serial number but I don’t think I needa worry about that since it’s pre-68. Enfield got for 250 with over 100 rounds of ammo. Think I came out winning on that one. @Rabbit2047 ill keep your offer in mind if decide to sell

Flatbacks for WBPs?For dying darker colors those would probably take the dye fairly well.
I am still trying to find
Please do.
My offer stands at $175 so you have even more room for profit.
Am I ok with the serial number issue you think? For dying darker colors those would probably take the dye fairly well.
I am still trying to find a junk bakelite with broken feed lips that I can use to experiment with dyeing

I’m not gunna worry about it. I have no ill intentions besides it wasn’t me that obscured it. Bubba grandpa should be held accountable for his sinister actions. The big crime is defacing this gun with Nazi stamps. 30 days in the brig I declareYes and no
Buy my booklet on gun laws!
Regardless of year of manufacture, defacing the serial number on a firearm is considered a crime.
While intent plays a part of the change, a hard charging ATF agent might be an asshole and go after you for it.
I don't think it's gonna be a problem for you though. I wouldn't worry about it. They would have a hard time making that stick.
