Sold my brother my G43 today, he’s got a bunch of traveling I GA lined up and wanted something smaller than a 19. Anyone want an Old 4 inch blued Taurus .357? Sexy gun, I think it’s from the 60’s. wood and pachmyer grips and a bunch of ammo. Want something in .45 like an RIA 1911

All credit to Grandpas gun, my brother came over and shot a few through it with his wife too! First time he’d shot in since around 9 years ago at the family plot in Missouri. Not sure how I lucked out and ended up with it after he passed but I love it more every time I shoot it!

Yes
It’s pussy ass blue loctite. Problem was I didn’t use the mounts supplied screws which catch, 3 full threads or so. I used trijicon screws which caught 6 full rotations, and blue loctite, still wasn’t scared, but a shallow ass torx head can get you everytime.

I used factory suppliesd screws, three full rotations, hand tightened torque. And marked em. We’ll see if they hold.

if you’re putting an RMR on a pistol and don’t use somesort of thread lock you WILL lose your pistol red dot. PS90 receiver is definitely not a Glock slide so I’ll keep an eye on the marking and see if there’s any backing out. Also factory screws were deep cut Allen pattern which I prefer over torx. Seems like every torx individual blade is weaker than a regular Allen which is weaker than a square drive

Stop reading manuals.
