I wish the good ones would all come over to the promise land. Being a former Okie myself, I’d love to be able to talk Okie with’em.
I have heard that the Russians would piss down their barrels to clean them after firing corrosive ammo.
Everybody’s Somebody in Snellville!!!!I wish I was in Snellville right now, lol. I have some really nice AR's that haven't seen the light of day in a while. Those 2 consecutive KAC lowers are nothing, lol.
Nah. GI mags won’t crack in 15 years. Might not happen at the feed lips, but transparent and translucent plastics are inherently weaker and more prone to breakage.I have no lancers. Should I?

I’ve got one Lancer mag in FDE. It’s nice, but I still prefer GI mags.

Waho all star
Because when mixing plastics, they mix in Carbon Black, which creates long carbon chains and creates a lot of strength in the polymer. But in translucent or clear plastics there’s little or no Carbon Black. So over time these types of plastic/polymer are just plain weaker. Granted, these Lancers have steel fees lips, so they’ll hold up pretty well overall, but I’d expect in a dozen years or so to start seeing spider cracks at the stress points where plastic meets steel, and at the floor plate. Why is this?

Solid color plastics, and especially black, will always hold up better. I’d say a Lancer in black would be better than a Magpul, but not necessarily better than a GI mag. YMMV.
