By the way the 40/357 and 9 extractors aren’t the same either

If I were going to carry the gun for self defense I would swap them out too based on the round I was carrying. Can you just swap barrels and mags and be OK? Sure you can and that’s a testiment that to the reliability and simplicity of a glock. Will the gun run 100% like it was designed to when you might need the most...probably. But if I’m carrying to protect my life probably ain’t good enough for me. As always YMMV.

Then barrels and recoil springs are the way to go. The glock is such a simple design it will probably rock right along with no issues. Thanks for the info, I would only carry it with 40 but I would like the other 2 options for the range or at least the 9mm due to the reduced cost.
Pics or it never happened, rite?

I once bought some spare 10 round G26 mags...took them to the range and one of them kept causing a failure to feed on the last round. When I looked the magazine over I realized it was a 9 round G27 mag, lol. So 9 in a 40 mag in a G26....no problem until the last round. I don’t know if you can get that 90% reliability with 9 in a G23 mag though.....but I might give it a try, lol
Ammo don’t blow up like that homie. It makes a lot of noise but without a barrel it’s not flying out like a projectile@Gaige random firefighter question...
What protocol do you guys take about fighting a fire with live ammunition in the home? Of course y’all probably won’t know or don’t run in it but what’s the protocol? What precautions do y’all take? Have you ever had this happen? Do you know anyone who has? Probably scary as shit
I knew that but I’m sure that shit still scary and ain’t no telling what someone got in the crib. I guess a better way to say it was for tannerite and shit like that as I don’t know much about tannerite and other explosivesAmmo don’t blow up like that homie. We pretty much never know what we are going into. It’s loud and I’ve been inside when rounds are going off. Really though we don’t even think of it. Plenty of other things to kill us.@Gaige random firefighter question...

3 shifts ago we had a car fire, tire exploded and it sounded like a 3006 went off next to me. Scared the absolute fuck out of me. One of the loudest bangs I’ve heard was a hot water heater that turned into a BLEVE.Yes I bet my bitch ass might start running to pop da trunk lol
