OK I have a gay Glock question.
I just bought a PD trade in G22 Gen 4 for 285.00
I want to get 9mm and 357 Sig barrels for it.
I know you can shoot 9mm with the conversion barrel and no real changes needed other than mags and barrel although some folks replace the extractor.
What about 357 Sig? Do I need anything other that the barrel and mags?
Is the 40 extractor ok for both 357 and 9mm?
Same extractor
Both use basically the same brass but the sig is necked
Mags are the same
Just get a new barrel and maybe recoil spring

OK so I should get a 17 spring for 9mm
Is the 40 spring ok for the 357?
Honestly it probably doesn't matter just for range use. I found the .40 spring and a 9mm barrel less than reliable. Maybe it was the extractor. Idk.
Spring itself is probably pretty affordable and it's easy to swap so why not

Thanks guys appreciate the info that was quick!
The 40/357 ejector is not the same as the 9mm ejector. 9 Might run fine with the 40 ejector but it might not have the same 100% reliability you usually see. If I were carrying it I would swap out the ejector for the specific caliber. Rang plinking, I would just roll with it and see what it does.

I have never swapped anything other than barrel and mags going 40 to 9.

I just wanted to have the option of all 3 calibers so I probably wont do anything other that the barrels and mags.
I have never shot anything in 357 Sig but I figured I might as well give it a try.

By the way the 40/357 and 9 extractors aren’t the same either

If I were going to carry the gun for self defense I would swap them out too based on the round I was carrying. Can you just swap barrels and mags and be OK? Sure you can and that’s a testiment that to the reliability and simplicity of a glock. Will the gun run 100% like it was designed to when you might need the most...probably. But if I’m carrying to protect my life probably ain’t good enough for me. As always YMMV.

This is the ODT listing for that K43. He says it’s all matching.
