My mom always had a garden growing up. She grew up with the "Victory Garden" during WWII with rationing and all. If you wanted fresh vegetables (or canned in the winter) you grew your own. She did a decent job despite the red GA clay.
It never stuck with me. My place doesn't really lend to it so it's kinda a moot point.
I think it's something I want to do when I retire.

@triplestack3 I try to live within my means. If that means not having a RPK for now, then so be it. But airplane tickets are at an all time low now so I figured it's best to rip the band-aid off now.
