Damn that was a lot of catching up to read.

@Shemp the trigger on the Steyr is nice. Really nice. Crisp as fuck nice. But the reset isn't very audible or tactile. And those weird triangle sights made it so I couldn't hit @Rabbit2047 with my mag dump. 7/10.
Those sights are pretty slick...but take some getting used to.

The reset is disappointing. I'm not a reset whore, but I wish it was more than it is. That may be the only negative of that pistol for me

First time ever on the tables but man I had the crew lit. Fun stuff may be a new hobby of mine.

So glad my buddies having a boy I WILL buy him his first gun. I already told mom and grand parents what’s going on lol
I have some direct drive quartz lock tables and a mixer in a coffin that I would trade for ammo or gun parts

Don't rush having kids man. I waited until I was damn near 30 and I don't regret it at all. It'll happen when it happens. Enjoy the godchildren, nieces, nephews, friends kids, etc. until then and spoil the shit outta them. When you have your own kids your friends/family will do the same to yours.

This is solid advice and yeah this happens. I was 33... Young enough to keep up and old enough to afford it.

And we like buying loud as hell toys for other people’s kids.

2 very novice questions I’m sure:
1) Gun says wasr10, but thread protector is removable, and I’m thinking about ordering an ak thread adapter for a .30 cal can. Anything I’m over looking?
2) what’s the purpose of the metal bulging out on the left side above the trigger guard? Reverse side of safety lever.

1. SAR1, imported during the AWB, has unthreaded muzzle. WASR 10 is threaded. Check barrel for concetricity before mounting the supressor, or you will have a buffle strike. Romanians make good barrels, but they are not always concetric. Soviet, Israeli are good to go. Polish and Bulgarian are usually too, but double check...
2 Lastochkin khvost, sparrow's tail. Rail for optic mounting. Optics will retain zero, when taked on and off, if mount is adjusted properly.

OMG, someone bought my son that stupid fucking “Bop-it” toy one year. I took the batteries out of it for the drive home.

I wish a Bop It toy was the most annoying toy that my toddler had. She has a ton of baby shark toys that just sing that same song over and over and over again. And then there's the Jojo Siwa toys that sing her annoying ass songs all the time. Oh, and then there's the tablet that she watches all kinds of annoying ass YouTube Kids videos on and full volume.

I was 43 when I had my first, 46 on my 3rd. No regrets here, happens when it happens. I'm probably a much better father now then I would have been in my 20' and 30's.
