Negative. VEPR is big monetary investment into a platform that you may not like. Buy cheap WASR, test drive, sell cheap WASR and either upgrade or stay in Ghey-R land

Once you shoot Vepr, nothing else is as good. I havd converted many die hard AR folks to AKs by letting them shoot my Vepr.

I'm not doubting that VEPR is a great AK and high quality. But for someone who isn't sure about the AK platform, it's a big investment.

It would be like someone who thinks they might want to get into motorcycling getting a $12k sport bike instead of a $2k beater.
