I believe that most aluminum lowers are T-6061 (?)
Either way, it shouldn't make any difference. T-7075 is a little harder, but I doubt you would ever know the difference, especially if the lower is forged. Heck, folks are making plastic lowers and those run okay. The lower isn't really a high stress part. It holds the trigger group and buffer tube extension - no other major movement going on.

So one of the guys at work fixed me up- solid acrylic billet for base. (that’s what we make here) I can’t wait to use this thing!
