Actually disregard I LOVE midlength but I want regular clam-shell type handguards. I hate the fat ass handguards that come with middys. I wish they were the same skinny diameter as the carbine length old school handguards. Supposedly RRA midlength handguard is skinnier than most on the market. Any confirmation to this?

No dick-mod lol. I think I’m gonna grab a pair of triangle beater handguards and chop them back and roll out the heat shield to engage the endcap. It can be done

Ever heard of the trunions being welded to the receiver instead of being rivits?

My IO has the rear trunion riveted too far back. I would shoot it and the dust cover would fly off and hit me.
