Yep. I won't own a 1911 that doesn't have front strap checkering. The more aggressive the better too. I had a 1911 that had 15 lines per inch checkering one time and loved it. Most front strap checkering on 1911's is 30 LPI.

Idk what the LPI was on that one I held. I just know it was a sign 1911 and it felt so good

@Jds556762 Ever have to chase shorts? I guess residential/commercial shorts just pop a breaker or become catastrophic?

Electronic shorts are a PITA sometimes. Having that kind of morning here lol.

I used a toner when I worked on C-130's...but I rarely needed it, usually we could physically chase the wire. On what I work on now, opens are easy...just gotta make the circuit lol! Shorts...can be anywhere, intermittent are the worst!
