Yugoslavia never fielded sidefolders. At the time all sidefolders were single strut affairs ( Egyptian, German, Polish, Romanian), and not stout enough for granade launching.
The triangle metal sidefolder, with U channel steel did not come out till the late 80s, IIRC. I saw AKS74U with them in service with police and MPs.

The Iraqi's built the Tabuks on Serbian tooling, and they didn't have side folders either. Although the sniper variants did have a very comfortable and attractive skeleton wood stock.

After my sinuses scrambled by daisy chained 155s back in 06, I had to have a septoplasty. Worst surgery ever

This reminds me; The original reason I built my AR pistol was BECAUSE OF CROSSING STATE LINES.

Apparently, it's not always legal (depending on the state) to have a LOADED rifle with you. However, if your CCW license is reciprocal, a PISTOL is covered while a RIFLE is not.

I used to drive to Memphis with my SKS jammed into the cargo area when we went there on vacations to see family until I realized It could've gone badly if I'd been in the wrong place at the wrong time...

Is there no hope for us "regular" guys? Every haircut, surgery, what ever, I give that same response.... "Just make me look like Brad Pitt" To this day it hasn't worked out in my favor.........

What's the max length of that sling? It looks like an RPK sling without the shoulder pad..

I don't know. I'll try and get it measured tomorrow afternoon. It's loooong. Long enough to 2 point like a boss.

Those Yugoslavians loved grenade launching stuff. Wouldn't surprise me if they had a grenade launching pistol.

Did you read a long post by a former Jugoslavian army officer on AKFiles? It was facinating. IIRC They were afraid of invasion by an overwhelming Wasaw pact force and planned on figiting a slow retreating war. Rifle launched grenades were their way of evening the odds. Plus in a mountain terrain grenades sem to be more useful than direct fire, sometimes.

Who voluntarily puts their ssn on a 4473?

If you have the same name and birthday as a convicted felon it can help differentiate you. It probably happens somewhat infrequently but still exists

Can't sell it as is cause I don't want to screw anyone over. Best thing I can do is try and get the receiver back to square and nickel plate it with some high figure walnut furniture and sell it as a wall hanger.

What about making it a blank firing gun and sell it to the movie people?

I'll have to keep an eye out for a double hook though. That's my one complaint about most AK slings is that they're all pretty much just shoulder only slings.

I got a double hook for my RH10 off of Amazon for around $13

PS you can always by a kit and make a sidefolder out of it. Or get a fixed stock AK and add one of CNC Warrior side folders to it.

CNC Warrior doesn't make a folder for the M72 series... Unfortunately...
