From what I understand these are basically dimpled WASR's with the front sight on the gas tube and a flash hider instead of slant brake. Is this pretty much correct?

No dimples, the front sight is hooded, side rail mount is a little higher, RPK rear sight and combo gas block. Otherwise the same
