Man, if I knew several years ago when you could walk into any gun shop and sift through crates full of $75 Mosins what they were gonna go for today I'd have bought several crates of those damn things back then. I didn't have any interest then but now I want one. I just have a hard time even thinking about paying $300+ for one. I guess I could say the same about a lot of stuff though.
I had maybe 8ish at one point but I keep selling them off to fund other stuff. Not a 300 dollar rifle to me either

FR-8 la coruña large ring Mauser in .308 win. Has some parts in common with the cetme. Bore good. I bought it maybe 5 years ago and just haven't gotten around to messing with it.

Is it the FR-7 or the FR-8 that they recommend not shooting new commercial .308 loads out of? IIRC I read something a couple years ago that said that one of them couldn't handle the newer commercial .308 loads and recommended to only shoot old military surplus .308 ball ammo out of them.

What in the ever living fuck is this seller thinking

I had very seriously considered getting this kit to remove the underfolder and then instead of doing the AR type stock I was going to drill a hole into an AK stock and pin it to the tube.

But after seeing THIS I'm thinking FUCK THAT. Those plates on the side of the rear trunnion are just WAY too Fugly for the wood stock to make up for.

Looks like I'll just have to keep an eye out for a wood stock sidefolder instead - Or maybe get a Yugo parts kit and build it into a sidefolder with a little help...

Yeah for sure. Real tempting for a sturdy 9mm
I've got one, really like em - but notice that these have "CAI" import markings on the frame? Plus what seems like a good bit of finish wear?

Likely these have been overseas, and now brought back after serving a long time in foreign service holsters.

I'd bet you can do better over on GB.

I don't think I've ever seen a wooden side folder. If you want one of those you'll probably have to build it yourself. That would be a pretty cool project though. I bet that if anybody could do it you could.

FR7 If I remember correctly. I like that .308 FR8, it's just not it the budget at this point. That hex Moslin is dated 1943, that's pretty cool. All of mine are war dated, and I was lucky enough to have pulled my M38, and M44 both out of the packing crate, they both appear to be unissued.
