Same... I kind of always wanted an RPK and I got a kit from Numrich because they were stupid cheap at the time (less than $200 delivered). I sat on the kit for a few years until @Jds556762 started the v1.0 thread. The thread got me thinking about this kit I had laying around, so I decided to join the journey. Fast forward a few months later and I had an RPK that was so smooth and soft shooting. The RPK is always a head turner and the finned barrel has a lot of retro cool. I could shoot an RPK like the one(s) I have for days.

Couple months ago I dug out a WASR 10/63 I had in storage and it's so "crunchy" compared to the M72. Looks like some drunk hammered it together in a woodshed while the RPKs really have that factory fit and finish to them.
