Well, someone had to say it.

Well said, btw. Wait, did I just say that in response to a @Laufen post?

Love this place and we'll eventually grow big enough to get the separate areas but no need to push it yet.

Perfect example - this thread was supposed to be version 2 of AK and other foreign builds.

I asked a question about head space and ONE, only ONE responded to my question. Granted it was the answer I was looking for from an experienced member but was ignored by everyone else. If we had separate threads maybe serious questions would be answered a little better?

We will grow into it and I really appreciate all the new members and don't want my post to be viewed as a criticism to this thread. It's a lot of fun to jump in and see how everyone's doing.

Carry on.

And thanks @Jeddak again for your headspace education!

I saw you got an answer so I stayed quiet about it as I thought it was the right answer from @Jeddak

That’s a big fucking stretch here. It’s not gonna happen.

You're right. It just pissed me off that it was suggested we break topics into their own individual threads--I mean, we cover 100 different topics a day, just shooting the shit. Sorry for the post, I tried to make it the least antagonistic as possible without losing the sentiment behind it. The suggestions are exactly what we've been told in V1 several times, and it just made me think, "Well, here we go again."

Have some coffee and some breakfast.
You’ll be alright.

Me I like to go to this site for the stimulating conversations that get deleted at the other place and gleam knowledge from the ones who have actual knowledge (yes even the smart ass answers are welcome because that is what real adults do).
Also I like this site as well because any question you ask regardless of how many times it has been answered it gets answered again (I can not stand those sites that tell people to use the fucking search feature, but yes I do know how to use it and I do use it I just hate that people do that to newbies (@Hayata) and run a few off).
This thread is so long I would not start reading it from the beginning just to find one awesome point in the middle of it but have been following this one from day one and it has been a hoot.
Don't be a Dick is the best Rule ever, so just answer the damn question, then point the newbies to the correct thread and say how you used the search function and voilà you keep the newbie and show how helpful this community is.
And if they can't figure it out after that they need to be taunted from the castle walls.

Aloha Fellas!

To any of you newer to SET folks that I have not formally welcomed...welcome! I truly mean that. Welcome to the community. I can only speak for myself, but I sure don't consider any of the ODT/Former ODT folks to be "new" or junior members in any way. You're all OG to me.

This thread has been fantastic, and a wealth of information. One way to help this extraordinary brain trust to be better utilized by members here, and potential members that read up on the forums occasionally is to start new topic specific threads in other areas to make sure your knowledge and expertise can be utilized by the most folks possible. It is also instrumental in attracting new members and that will absolutely make the community stronger, just as your participation has.

Again, I sure appreciate the content and ideas, but a lot is lost simply because of the volume of posts.

Anyway, one assholes opinion so take it for what it's worth. I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Hes just trying to get the site more diverse. I get it....one giant thread isnt as good for the site as multiple medium threads
