Yeah, they redesigned the AR-180 upper so it was compatible with ar-15 lowers, you can choot it without a buffer tube but I put one on cause I want to have a stock
So this is basically a modern redesign of the AR-180 as a piston side-charger on an AR-15 lower, and has almost nothing in common with the original antique AR-180?
Specifically, no parts interchange?

I don’t know about interchanging parts, I know the fucntion of the two rifles is the same but to make it compatible with the ar-15 lowers I would imagine that some of the changes are pretty significant

Gotcha. I kinda wish for confusion's sake they'd have given it a different name. Maybe AR-360?
