What’s a fudd?
I can answer this now lol
Exactly -

Urban Dictionary: Fudd
Slang term for a "casual" gun owner; eg; a person who typically only owns guns for hunting or shotgun sports and does not truly believe in the true premise of the second amendment. These people also generally treat owners/users of so called "non sporting" firearms like handguns or semiautomatic...

Yup. $400 good deal. $425 pretty good. Big ass gun though. P10c much better imo. Wish I had a Shadow 2 also.

Sorry to spam the thread, but how is this trigger?

I've never had an issue with the Tapco G2 honestly, but isn't that the one that can peen the carrier?
I've had both and prefer the ALG. Fucking fantastic in my 74 I used to have. Actually raided the trigger before I sold it.

I guess that was my point. Most AKs I've had used the Tapco G2 and it's a really nice trigger IMO. Just wondering why the need to "upgrade" other than the hammers are supposedly too hard?

I pretty much swear by the G2 trigger. The G2 and magazines are about the only decent thing that they make. I easily have over 1000 rounds in RPK#1 and there's zero peening with the G2 that's in there.

It was in my 74 when I got it. It was just really smooth, broke nice, and was light. Easy to double tap with out if you so desired. I don’t know if someone polished on it or not. I’m telling you, it was almost too good to be out of the box. I’ll try to look closer when I get home.

G2 is GOOD but the ALG is BETTER! Pain to install with the way you have to set the pin for the safety to work but it's not /that/ hard to install. Just not a drop-in like a regular trigger. Put one in my 23" 54R VEPR and it is such an improvement!
