My Ultra could be picky.... But that’s the nature of an officer. It carried fantastic. I finally got some nice grips for my Sig. Now to polish some idiot marks off. (I got it used cheap)It absolutely is internet hype. Some Kimbers may have issues, same as any other brand X Y Z. I do know the Kimpro finish is awful so I just stay away from those. And I'm not paying $2K for a Kimber, at that price I'm going Ed Brown, Nighthawk, Baer, etc.
Oooo.... Para!!!!Oh good, back to poasting kalashy pics

Oooo! M44! Those are too fun..... Especially at indoor ranges full of people shooting 9mm pistols....

Your Kimber officer probably wasn't picky bc it was a Kimber. Officer 1911s are known to be finicky. I've had 3. The V10, a Para Expert Carry, and the ECO. The ECO was the only one to run right, 100 percent. I did have a Kimber Tactical Ultra but I can't comment on it since I never shot it...
Had to get the feet in....
