Just had a 2 fatality wreck. I had to cut the driver out. What a shitty day. I’m off here for a few. Stay safe. This one was upsetting.

Damn that’s crazy. Coming home our exit, 19 on 575 was shutdown due to a single car fatality wreck. Looked like they hit the water barrels with driver door. Car was everywhere and sheet over door.

The Colt I sold @Shemp when he was carrying an Ed Brown Kobra and introduced me to skip line checkering.

Not me. I rotate through reasonably priced Kimbers and the like. ~$700 and never had a problem.
I had a Custom II TLE that was absolutely fantastic. They come with front strap checking, so that is a big plus.

People shit on Kimbers all the time, but I think a certain portion of that is from internet hype.

It absolutely is internet hype. Some Kimbers may have issues, same as any other brand X Y Z. I do know the Kimpro finish is awful so I just stay away from those. And I'm not paying $2K for a Kimber, at that price I'm going Ed Brown, Nighthawk, Baer, etc.

I had a 2 tone one also, I traded that DW ECO to Geezer for it. I wanted the full size grip capacity for EDC. But then I thought it was too pretty to carry so I sold it. Or traded it, I can't remember. I've gotten over that fear of a pretty/expensive carry gun though lmao

That DW ECO was a GREAT carry piece. If I could get into one for $1000 or less again, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Officer grips usually mess with me but not with that ECO.
