Go Apollo, go6.91 hot motherfucking miles, but we caught the big crowd of folks headed down the beltline for yoga...yowsas! Yoga pants as far as the eye could see!
That's a hilly mofo.
New personal best yesterday. It's crazy how quickly the human body can recover from years of neglect! I had a little more in me as far as cardio, but was getting some pretty good iliotibial band pain near the end.

Sounds terrible lol. I can barely run much at all. That day I walked 1/2, ran 1/2, walked 1/2, ran 1/2, walked 1/4 then finished by running 3/4. Sounds like I wouldnt stick with yall but for the first little while then be on my own hahaEeegsellent. Ya oughtta join my running group, and let a lot of folks whoop your ass for a while. Mix in some hill reps, that'll also really show quick gains. They suck, but it's worth it.Sounds terrible lol. I can barely run much at all. Sounds a bit outta my league for now. Just getting started here. Prob won't end up running a ton, as a like riding bikes, kayaking etc. Running is just quick and easy. I am just trying to get more active and stay that way. Not necessarily run marathons.Mix in some hill reps, that'll also really show quick gains. They suck, but it's worth it.
Find a long steep hill, start out at 80% effort and gradually increase until you're at 100% for the last 25% of the incline, walk down, rinse repeat.
Yeah, we usually do 4-13 miles (longer on the weekends) and stay right around an 8min/mile pace.
