It's different that's for sure.... As far as being fast I'd still like to try the ATS sights. They're just ugly as hell. And probably a gimmick as well....

Could only possibly, maybe see a use one a defense gun and used at like, 5 yards max. Absolutely no sight radius. Not to mention, what are you going to do with your front sight

The front sight is the most important one on a pistol. Why would you try and eliminate it?

im confused. it seems as though this is meant mainly for close quarters fast acquisition but in most close quarters fast acquisition scenarios your not even going to be looking at the sight but just pointing and shooting

The main purpose is to put money in the maker's pocket.

I think it's a great idea. It's not like iron sights, it's a low profile reflex sight.

I thought it was dumb till I saw a short vid on IG showing how it works, now I want to try one.

So it's either the target or the sight is going to be incredibly blurry because of the proximity of the sight to the eye.

That's like worrying about the sight radius of a red dot. When it's close to aligned you just see the center dot, then the outer ring comes into view as you align your eye behind the sight.

I guess that makes sense but it looked like they were two separate things inside the sight as the camera view went across the back of the sight.

I owned a Steyr (spelling?) M9 or some such name pistol for a little while- it had similar X-wing fighter sights on it... they sucked in practice. Just my opinion. Sold that thing not long after taking it to the range. Although the grip was as or more comfortable than anything else I can remember shooting.

Yeah I think I'll just stick to my Truglo night sights. LOL. They haven't let me down yet!
