It really sucks. Even a sharpened toothbrush handle can get you into hot water. It's a real bitch. In Switzerland I can almost certainly get by with a small swiss army knife. I had my Spyderco Delica taken at the Louvre in Paris, but it was returned upon exit from the museum. The knife was 100% illegal to possess in France, but given the tourist traffic they kind of ignore it.Gotcha
i have one of these (somewhere).. kinda nifty. too bad i have no idea where i put it!
What about one of these?
walk with a limp and have a gun cane or knife cane.. lead filled cane .knife necklaceHey y'all. I'm going to be spending a good bit of time in Europe over the next few years, and I need to come up with some good ideas for innocuous looking improvised weapons. Knives are iffy, especially locking knives. I'd love to carry one (and I probably will) but I'll be doing so at my peril.
What are some other good ideas that won't draw too much attention?
Tactical pens? I'll get one as soon as I figure out a decent brand.
It can't be anything that looks too "tactical", the more benign looking the better.
Thanks Gang!

Yeah, that's get my ass tossed in the clink. You might be able to get away with it here, but there's no way I'm doing that in Europe.walk with a limp and have a gun cane or knife cane.. lead filled cane .knife necklace

Get a couple punch rings from Knuckle Dragger Tools. I picked up a few of them and they are light, sturdy, and sharp. Made from G10 material.
They used to sell them at local swap meets and gun shows. Slide your middle finger through the big center hole and hold it.
Yeah, but you can't just carry them around...no joke. They'll cite you.pair of scissors?

It's tougher than you think. If you are carrying anything that you don't have an immediate an legal purpose for, you can be cited. Utility knife and not a carpenter on the job.,..go to jail. The guy that makes them goes by Blackplague14 on TOS. Another one on there that works with him is Fat Zombie.I've sent them a message through FB and an email through their site...incommunicado. Any ideas?
