This is actually making the best sense. It's pretty readily available, the patent expiration means other (domestic) ammo companies can make it, other gun manufacturers are making it, the mags hold 50.
308 win will never be super cheap, but it will alway be here ,if you shop around and buy in bulk it’s affordable to shoot.

I've had the HK91 and FALs, never took a liking to them for some reason. Had a Garand and didn't care for it either. Un-American I know :/

I’ve been considering 6mm ARC.
I’ve been having feeding issues with my 350 legend, I believe to be caused by the gap at the upper’s m4 feed ramps and the barrel extension feed ramp.
It was creating a chisel effect that would shave copper off the fmj projectiles, slowing the cycling and not going into full battery.
I just disassembled the upper, pulled out the dremel and did some gun smiffin. Will see how it goes at the range, but seems to cycle smoothly now. Before and after pics.
If this doesn’t work, I’ll buy a 6mm ARC barrel and give it a whirl.
