Just ran a 2 mile in 14:20 boys

gonna do 1 speed run a week I think.

so far routine has been some sort of combination like this

mon - rest
Tues - 3.5/4 miles
Wed - rest
Thurs - 3.5/4 miles
Fri - 5.5/6 miles
Sat - rest
Sun - 2/2.5 miles for speed

any runners or ex-runners etc who know more about running than me let me know if there’s anything you would suggest I tweak to routines

So no joke I bought this gun in 2002 because I couldn't get an AR at the time. Funny to look back at how much more of a hack than I am even now....

This heat shield was one of my first "smithing" jobs. What a brutal install...

So I removed it, pushed it forward into the proper place, made a new front bead from an old Chicago pin, and bolted the shield down with the new bead. Clamped and formed it with a mallet so the forend functions smoothly.

Honestly though, (I'm not a runner obviously lol) I would say your training depends on your goals. Are you wanting increased cardio, endurance? Or a balance of strength and sprints? I dunno, just thinking out loud.
