Possibly. Lots of office work. No longer in the field. Paperwork, do the job that other higher ups don’t want to do. Basically going back and fourth between Brunswick and Forsyth for a year with classes. No idea what I’m doing on that side of the job lol. I Specialize in suppression, not prevention.
That’s the beauty of training. And the stress of getting fired because you don’t know shit. It really encourages you to perform.

Oh I for sure know I got it. That’s no issue. The issues is there is a chance I very may well hate it.
That’s always the rub.
But, the more you move up, the more you make, and most importantly, the more you make in retirement.
I like to inspire my shift from the front. Not pushing papers and listen to all the radio traffic and not play. But...I’d get a company vehicle which would save miles on the Ram that’s about to hit 215K
Trust me, I understand. I’ve been offered training house positions, and office management positions. For me the rub was I’d have to live in Dallas Or Cleveland for either one. So I stayed out as a line instructor pilot instead. I could move up to check airman for an additional $300 a month, but that’s not enough to entice me to deal with biannual fed rides. I’m afraid I would step on my dick. “Obviously, you want me to suck your dick, so just whip it out so we can get it over with”. Fucking govt employees!
