Extremely reliable. Especially the models after 1962 that have an external extractor. SAO (but that's my favorite kind of semi-auto). Removing the mag disconnect does wonders for the trigger. Hammer bite is a problem for some people, especially civilian models with spur hammers. Easily remedied with a ring style hammer. I always loved the way they shot & wish I never got rid of my last one since production ended by Browning in 2018. Hungary, Turkey &, I think, India are still producing clones. The staggered 13 round mag is nothing special now but was extraordinary when introduced in 1935. Adopted in over 93 countries for military & LEO use, so a long history as a reliable service weapon. Loved to have one again.
