I got to play with mine today. I set the vox to high and it seems I need to say something like test test to wake it up before communicating. Kim spoke normally and neither would activate for her. I told her to speak loudly to wake it up and that worked.
I don’t think it’s a 3 second delay on mine. Maybe about 1-1.5.
I’ll report back when I try them on the range.

I wonder why there's blonde and dark colored finishes on them makkie bois. Different importers? I have several blonde sets, none o them dark ones.

Meh, I don't think it really matters all that much, especially with x39. I keep a couple cases of 8m3 on hand though.
