looks like an oversight to me but an easy fix for them maybe
I only watched half that video, so I didn't see if he'd thought of a "fix". If that 45° on the top somewhat lines up, you might be able to drill a hole and plug the back of it...maybe? Probably better to plug the original hole first too... Someone buy one and let me try to fix it lol

He never fixed himself but I bet it’s something FRT is definitely gonna have to address. Future models will probably have the recess drilled at a 45degree angle as opposed to the 90degree. Might be a RMA back to vendor and a replacement for current owners. Probably the best case scenario
