Variable Rheostat. That’s the important partA 15 amp circuit breaker?
I got the transformer put together last night. May try it with some salt water tonight.
Seriously, i do need a small resistor somewhere in the circuit. I think i have a variable rheostat (spelling? ) somewhere in the shop.
A good friend of mine is building one of those things to do the wood burning with saltwater, and he mentioned that without the rheostat you can easily kill yourself.
He’s using a microwave for the power supply

The trick is to wet the fabric down and then it will stretch a couple extra inches
