It is the fully adjustable hinges. But they are maxed out for adjustment.
That's screwed up.
You can still the holes out to fit a dowel, glue that in, and redrill the hole locations... but you shouldn't have to be the one doing that.
I will end up fixing it myself if he builders don't follow through. Or the other contractor I have on hand, but if I can pocket some of the remaining funds
