No sks paratrooper was a service rifle that I'm aware of.
They are made for US market from a standard 20" sks

But wait, there was a short gas version that pulled the gas hole back away from the muzzle. The SKSS.

Then you got Knight's, which I believe to be a stateside cut down barrel redo to 16.5" Yea, I spotted that. 
Those were test guns to run an ak mag and don't think any were in service.
All ended up here
D and M series saw service

The SKSS was a "Paratropper" made from all new parts with 16" barrel and short gas system
But never saw service. Just a test weapon, right?
All exported as civilian to US and other countries for a shooter
I still say bubba built just to slap gaiges nuts around
