5.45 7n6 ammo would have been more impressive.
He was shooting 60 grain lead jacked ammo.
7n6 is 53grain steel bullets wrapped in copper to keep from wearing your barrel out.
7n6 will shoot through ar500 plates at that distance.

Makes sense ... but will 7n6 dry up or is there a large amount of domestic 545 ammo manufactured in the USA or are you forced to reload ? I do occasionally see Hornady on shelves in Academy every 3mos or so.
