I'm actually on the lookout for a Taurus 692. 7 shot 3 inch .357 magnum w/ an interchangeable 9mm cylinder. I don't know if I'll be able to afford one but I've given up hope of ever affording a 3 inch 686+ like I sold.
The 3" 686+ I had was literally the least fun gun I've owned
It was my EDC for years. But when things got bad, a 3" 686+ pre-lock paired with a 4" 686+ pre-lock brought in lots of $$ to they left. I've got tons of .357 & .45 ACP ammo so I'm looking for a LW commander (my full size steel 1911 causes too much pain for me to carry) & a 7 shot .357. In addition to the ammo, I have holsters, mags, speedloaders, etc. so my only cost would be the gun itself. Of course, what I really want is the S&W 586 L-Comp, but that'll never happen.

Yeah, at that price I would. Last I looked in early January, the Taurus was going between 500 & 550. If that's what their up to now, no way.
