Educated a friend on his hatred of Glock

A friend of mine talks shit about Glock all the time. I always ask him what he doesn't like and he says the triggers suck beyond belief. He admitted that he owned yet hated his Glock 19 and never shoots it. I told him to come by the house to shoot with me yesterday. When he shot his gun it was all over the place. I asked to see it and immediately knew why he hated it. I handed him my 19 to shoot and he couldn't believe the difference. He was shooting 3" groups with little effort. He loved my 19.

I stripped his down and showed him the reason why he hated his gun so...

It shall be corrected this weekend.

Possibly, that little spring added 4lbs to the trigger pull.

I think the argument at the time was to help officers transition from double action revolvers to the new fangled Glocks without having a bunch of ND's... and it appears to have stuck around. Same article I was reading says that the officers have to buy their own back up gun if they want one- and it's basically got to be a DAO pistol.

Kinda. I used to interact with those guys, and NJ cops daily. On average about 1 in 100 had any firearms experience whatsoever before joining the police force. They were the least safe as far as gun handling of any type of customer that walked through the door...except for maybe some drugged up guy looking to sell guns to get dope. They even gave those assholes a run for their money.

Oh I'm sure it does. I never doubted that. But I can't even think of a logical reason from that standpoint. Of course that's because there is no logic behind it, I know.
