80% Lower Build PArty

That is my point in all of this was the learning process, and not to mention it was FUN.

Also I just bought this jig and I have the rest of the jigs to do 80 Percent 1911's too.

I will say this guy's tools and shop make me look like an 18 year old with a belt sander and a hacksaw.

Hope I can Deliver, I just know how the 80 percent stuff goes.

Oh and BTW I have built AK's From 80 Percent Flats too, I just do not have all the tools anymore as I sold most of them.
This is a Screw Build I still have and it has over 2k rounds down the pipe.

Yeah, I just cannot get into the AK platform enough to want to do one. Just keeping my $400 Wasr because I have around 2k rounds for it...lol

This is me Drilling the First and only hole you need to mill (router) out the Upper


The rest are Routing out the lower Step by Step



Done with step one.


Putting pin in for step 2 and to keep me from routing out the shelf anymore.

The router makes the end result sooooo much nicer than the one I did on a drill press.

The jigs have come a long way from the early days when all we knew to use was a drill press.
With this Router jig all I need is a Sandblast Cabinet and then Anodize the lower, after that you could not tell it from a Production run Lower.
