    OK, I'll start

Well, a long time back I promised some pictures, but got lazy. Here's two of my Colt revolvers and just so you don't think I'm a Colt snob, here's a Smith for you (although it is 'only' a .22LR) :D

    Custom grips?

Exactly. There are so many custom grip makers out there to choose from. First decide what material you are interested in (wood, micarta, G-10, etc.) then start looking at each maker's site.

    LC9--Love mine.

Good question - mine is definitely an early one. Serial number is 320-41xxx

    LC9--Love mine.

Hmm, that might explain why I don't like the trigger on my LC9, as it is an early model. I need to find someone with a current version and compare triggers.

    Held a Ruger 1911..

I would love to get a Ruger 1911, but the 'enlightened' folks at DOJ haven't approved it for sale here. :(

    LC9--Love mine.

Funny that you should mention the LCP. I feel exactly the same way. The LCP's trigger doesn't bother me at all, but I'm still not warm and fuzzy about the LC9. Yes, the mod helped, but I need to get some range time in with the 9 to master that trigger.

    Caldwell E-MAX electronic earmuffs failure

Same here. I'm a long time customer who has had to use their CS on two occasions. Both times things were handled without any difficulty, and to my satisfaction. It keeps me coming back to them.

Good & bad of selling guns..

Sold an early generation Glock 21 which never bothered me because the grip was just too big for me. My biggest regret is selling a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington, with Weaver 4X scope. Sold it a long, long time ago, and still regret that I did that. :(

    LC9--Love mine.

OK, finally got a chance to install the modified hammer and trigger bar. No question that it does shorten the trigger pull some, but I'm still not a big fan of the LC9 trigger. I'm thinking that's because I also have a Kahr Stainless Elite, and its trigger has spoiled me. The Kahr has a...

    Pictures (of Rugers)

You called it, Skip. Yes, it is the .45 Colt Blackhawk. Quite an accuare gun I might add.

    My favorite gun store ...

Glad you have a place like that to visit. Sure wish there were one here. :(

    FrogLube?

Thanks for the followup. Wintergreen smell, huh? So, it might be wintergreen oil and not snake oil, maybe? ;)

    LC9--Love mine.

Just got the parts back, but am working crazy hours at as local county fair, so will have to wait until next week to install and test. As promised, will follow up with a report.

LC9 - How many mags come with a new gun?

Mine came with only one mag as well.

    LC9--Love mine.

No problem - as mentioned, will report once I get the parts back and can get to the range.

    LC9--Love mine.

Just following up this post. Since the LC9 isn't my carry gun, decided to see what I could do about the trigger. Sent off my trigger bar and hammer to Galloway Precision to see if their modification of same would help. I'll report when I get the parts back.
