Yes, it sure is. Many, many moons ago I sold a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington to a friend. I still regret that, as that was a nice shooting and good looking gun. I think when you're done you will have a real beauty. Please keep us posted.

Good call on your part. From what I have read so far, the Gen 4 has some 'teething' problems, with various problems mentioned by a number of owners.

I haven't used that particular ammo, but in general I'm not a big fan of +P ammo in my guns. I feel that once you exceed SAMMI specs you're in unknown territory, and relying on a manufacturer to not go overboard with its +P offerings.

I'm a big fan of the G19, and have a 3rd generation version. It has been 100% reliable from day one, and continues to be so after many rounds down range. Didn't realize they were now available in FDE. Nice color combo. Wish you the very best with it.

The LCP is a fun little gun! I was able to put about 150 rounds through one on three different occasions, and had a great time. Yes, there is a fair amount of recoil, but even with the relatively long trigger, the sample I shot was pretty accurate at 7-8 yards.
