I just ordered 2100 rounds of 22lr in an ammo can from Cabelas for $100. Shipping was $12. That's not as cheap as it used to be, but close.

Maybe something out of burly maple perhaps? If I remember correctly you have a couple things you made out of burly maple that turned out very nice.

I do like those grips Mukwah. I might try a set of rubber grips, but I am leaning toward wood. There is just something about a nice set of wood grips on a revolver. I doubt I will have this in layaway for the full 90 days. I am very anxious to shoot it.

I think you were ahead of the curve Dave. I was at a gun show last weekend and there was a seller with tons of airsoft and bb guns that were replicas of other handguns. It was pretty cool, he had a pretty good selection.

I've had buyers remorse before, but never on a firearm. This is only the 2nd or 3rd time I have seen the SR1911 in the local gun shops. They go FAST when they get them, and they only get 1 maybe 2 at a time.
