Today I bought 60 lbs of lead from a local seller I met on Craigslist. He was selling it for $1.50 a lb. I got 40 lb of soft lead that I will horde and 20 lb of hard lead that I will use to mold bullets for my 44 magnum. Now to scope out molds and what powder I want to use.

What a fantastic revolver. Wow this thing is a blast to shoot. After a couple rounds the guy in the stall next to me with an AK variant was stepping over to see what I was shooting. And what a nice trigger. The trigger on this Ruger is smooth as silk.

Today I am carrying the XDS 45 OWB in a Galco holster. We made a trip to the local range for a couple hours of shooting and then a late lunch at Burger King. Maybe later we will do a little shopping.

Right now its the LCP in the right front pocket. The pockets on these Wrangler jeans are a little small for the XDS

Nice collecion of Ruger revolvers. I have been watching an Alaskan at the local gun shop for several months and can't believe its still on the shelf. They make the Alaskan in 454 casull also.

I am being extra cautious around the house tonight. XDS 45 in the pocket and a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Magnum on the belt. You can never be too careful. LOL, I actually just picked the Blackhawk up today. A Christmas gift for myself.

Yesterday and today it's the XDS OWB in a Galco holster.

Anyone have a Sig P290RS? I have been seeing these pretty cheap and they look like a good CCW. The reviews I have watched it seems people like them. I've heard complaints bout the takedown, but it does not look that hard to me. Any experience with these?

I believe Cabelas still has free shipping on ammo right now. If so, that helps a lot with the price.

Today I am carrying my LCP. But today I also made a deal with my buddy to purchase his XPS 45acp in 2 weeks. Looks like I will have a new winter CCW. 8)
