You don't need to pull the trigger to disassemble a M&P.

    Considering reloading

I can buy decent .223 brass ammo that shoots close to 1moa for 30¢. I can make a decent 55gr equivalent, that shoots better than 1moa, for about 13¢ not counting the brass. So you can save $150 a case, but it takes a lot of time in prep to get those results. But what you end up doing it's making...

My gen4 19, had the newer recoil spring but some of the brass would land on the brim of my hat. The new extractor fixed it too. They are good, but perfection isn't in the same ballpark. I'm really happy with it now, but I almost sold it before the armorers at the match fixed it, the same time...

I did have the slide stop on my 19 break or fall out of the gun once and I didn't notice until after three failure to fires and then the slide assembly slid of the frame. I gave it to an official armorer at a GSSF competition and he fixed it up with some new parts. I took a M&P9c to a conceal...

And this is why public advice sucks. 95% of people will recommend what they own because it justifies, in their own mind, the purchase they already made.

This is like having an argument about Honda Accords and Toyota Camrys. One will fit your ass better, but even if you buy the one that doesn't, in a month you will probably prefer it.

Never buy a brand new model gun. They're worse than cars about having extra problems.

At the time Glock and M&P were similar otd prices. In a world of $400 M&Ps I probably would've never joined GSSF in the first place.

I picked up some magpul G17 mags for $11, and I've been to two GSSF matches where they're were selling mags for $10 each. I like the M&P and the only reason I'm a Glock guy is the GSSF discount. At one point I owned both, and even with the discount I almost went with the Smith. But at this point...

Glock because magazine prices. I have a dozen each G17 and G19 mags. I never paid more than $12 for any of them, no Korean. How cheap could you buy 24 M&P mags?
