I've had good success with the Lead-Away cloths... I love a stainless revolver. Don't have to worry about the blue or the nickel finish when it comes to care/cleaning.

Don't be afraid of the cheap scope - but keep expectations in line. I've shot 600 yards at CMP with scopes less than $200...Kalinka on a VEPR and a Redfield (no longer made) on a Swiss K-31. I'm not clover leafing but they are going in the black. I'm just giggling like a school girl to print...

Got a Colibri stuck in my FVSR's barrel one time. True story. Most of 'em make it down range but this time it didn't. Cleaning rod from the breech end and was back in business. But like NWS said, I'm sure you could do more damage with a sling shot.

It's also a low inflammation diet. Good for your joints, etc. I don't cut out cheese/sour cream/etc. Works like a charm. However, if you fall off the plan in a hard way, the weight comes back on faster than it came off. Drink lots of water. And there are no carbs in booze. I just hate...
