I get that, but at the end of the day, you can get a M1A much easier and cheaper. Yes, it won't be like yours, but it will still be an M1A. If you can't do without yours, then keep it. But the M76 is much harder to come by, and they were imported in low numbers.

Not many M76 are around. Cool factor. Powerful round. One negative is ammo cost. 8mm isn't exactly cheap. You can always pick up an M1A fairly easy. I'm Bosnian, so I'm biased, although the M1A is one of my favorite 308's.

For the record I have both. A fully upgraded P07 from CGW with $300 in parts, and an M&P with APEX metal trigger. Stock for stock P07 is hands down better, but the APEX tuned MP is miles ahead of the Cajunized P07, the CZ just can't compete on the trigger feel and reset of the Apex. And I say...
