If the cuts did not penetrate completely through the metal, it would be better IMHO. You would still have the look of a sculpted slide without the complete openings to get FOD into the works.

I have the Octane 45 HD and run it on a Glock 37 and it works well and suppresses grandly. I also run it on my M11/9 and now that I can get the Octane 9 endcap it will be a bit quieter. It is already pretty sweet. Does a descent job on my 300 BO but still need a dedicated can for that.

If anything happens to Gaston then the drama will die down and Glocks will continue to get made. Just your average ordinary CEO.
