Depends on the application. Subs will run better with the 230 gr projectile. Many of the self defense loads use some variation of the 185 gr as you can achieve greater velocity for barrier penetration when desired.

I am okay with 300 BO on my AR as the primary reason is to shoot suppressed which requires subs.

Ditch the bipod and find a lighter scope and you will shed some weight. They make great shooting sticks setup now! Besides, unless you are bench shooting a real ninja wouldn't have a bipod installed! LOL
